Georgia Spice Company is a small, woman owned and operated business that specializes in custom manufacturing of dry food ingredients. Founded in 1968, Georgia Spice Company has created and manufactured batters, breaders, salad dressings, marinades, soups, sauces, teas, and snack toppings for the meat, fish, poultry, food service, and snack industries.

Georgia Spice Company produces quality products by maintaining a Quality Control department on site at all times. We follow HAACP and GMP guidelines and have received AIB Superior ratings for ten successive years. Our Research and Development Department is staffed by degreed food scientists giving us the ability to either match products or create our own.

Our products are typically packaged in bulk and palletized. In addition, we have the capability to pack products in smaller containers for retail or industrial kitchen use. We also have a relationship with a packaging company that allows us to offer flexible packaging options including stick packaging. We can sell our products directly to an end user or our products can be incorporated into other manufactured products to create a finished good.

Key Personnel
Selma Shapiro, President and Bernard Shapiro, Co-owner founded the company in 1968. Their daughter, Vicki Shapiro Steine joined the company in 1999. Georgia Spice employees thirteen other employees many of whom have been with the company for well over five years.
